Meet the Instructor
Ronit Plank
Ronit Plank is a writer, editor, podcaster and teacher. Her fiction and creative nonfiction have been nominated for three Pushcart Prizes and have earned Best Microfiction and Best of the Net nominations. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Iowa Review, The Rumpus, American Literary Review, Hippocampus, Writer’s Digest and The New York Times. Ronit’s first memoir, When She Comes Back, placed as a finalist in the 2022 Housatonic Book Awards and the 2021 National Indie Excellence Awards.
Ronit is a creative nonfiction editor at The Citron Review, a writing teacher, and frequent speaker about memoir craft and why our stories matter. She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Pacific University.
