Denise Matayoshi Mino
Trainer, National Native American Human Resources Association | Principal Consultant, Denise Miño Coaching and Consulting
Denise Matayoshi Miño is an organizational development practitioner, transformational coach, national conference presenter, facilitator, trainer and change leader. She specializes in working with Native American tribes and nonprofit organizations. She believes in leading teams with love, compassion and empathy, considering each individual and their unique skills and perspectives as a valuable part of the whole. Miño is deeply committed to building inclusive workplaces and communities where individuals from all backgrounds feel they belong and are empowered to thrive.
Miño’s work experience includes more than 25 years working in tribal and state governments, tribal-owned casinos and nonprofit organizations. She's a graduate of the University of Washington Tacoma's Certified Public Manager® program and is a Certified Tribal Human Resources Professional. Miño received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, where she studied public health, human resources and organizational development. She's currently working on a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology at Walden University.
