Dawn Ressel

Owner, Next Leap Design

Dawn Ressel has worked in the field of user experience for more than 20 years. She currently owns her own consulting company, specializing in user research and design. She also has experience in the fintech and healthcare industries. Previously, Ressel managed a 12-person team at Intuit, where she also led the Intuit Design System, a strategic, multi-product, cross-company initiative.

Ressel is extensively trained in Intuit’s Design For Delight methodology, and at Intuit, she led workshops with stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization to drive innovation and collaboration through design thinking. She's also consulted and facilitated workshops for several startups to help them apply design thinking and lean methodologies. Ressel holds a master’s degree in digital design from Georgia Tech.
