Beth Devine
Professor, The Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute, University of Washington
Ph.D., PharmD, MBA
Dr. Devine is a professor in the UW Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (CHOICE) Institute in the School of Pharmacy. She holds adjunct appointments in Biomedical Informatics and Health Services. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington Department of Health Services, her PharmD from the University of the Pacific and her MBA from the University of San Francisco. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health economics and outcomes research with UW and Roche Global Pharma Business.
Dr. Devine is an expert in evidence synthesis and has conducted numerous systematic reviews and (network) meta-analyses in the Bayesian and frequentist frameworks on diverse topics. She is the UW-site principal investigator of the AHRQ-funded Pacific Northwest Evidence-Based Practice Center. She was a member of the ISPOR Indirect Treatment Comparisons Task Force and is an elected member of the Society for Research Synthesis Methods. She currently serves as an associate editor for Value in Health.
