About this Program
Note: This program was previously titled Certificate in Business Intelligence & Data Migration.
Business intelligence analytics relies on ready access to large collections of well-structured data. In this three-course certificate program, you’ll learn how to build and manage the data structures and integration pipelines needed to power your organization’s business intelligence (BI) operations.
We’ll explore the entire life cycle of database development for both on-premise and cloud operations, including defining business requirements, creating and automating the data pipeline, and building operational reports. You’ll understand how to develop and manage data integrations across various types of databases — relational and non-relational and on-premise and in the cloud. You’ll master the ETL (extract, transform, load) process of migrating data from one data structure to another. Finally, you’ll learn how to build dashboards and reports to monitor and fine-tune your data integration processes and track performance metrics.
DESIGNED FOR
Those with at least basic SQL and database experience who want to design and implement data structures and data integrations for BI operations.
